Florp may seem like a simple easter egg, but if you look below the surface, there is a lot to find, and to ponder about this little rat.

I'm sorry but hearing "florp killed sisyphus" is making me laugh like a maniac because of a mental image of an angel fucking throwing Florp at Sisyphus and him fucking dying

Regarding "Florp is a sinner", this is disproven by Jakito's line about requiring INNOCENT flesh. Florp is an innocent soul with great power obviously making him of heavenly origin

The ultrakill wiki is amazing:
* A legally distinct Florp can also be found in [ 4-4: CLAIR DE SOLEIL] in the chamber of the Feline and the Rodent as a wall carving.
* Despite the superficial want to do so, you cannot pet Florp. This is not sad, as Florp is undeserving of love.
* Despite residing in hell, Jakito will accept Florp as a sacrifice of innocent flesh. This suggests that Florp was brought into hell by humans during their expeditions.
* Despite looking like a mammal, Florp lays eggs. As such, it is either a monotreme (egglaying mammal) or a divine mistake.
* Unlike any other grabbable item in the game (other than soap, as it's an instant kill) Florp will not ignite enemies.

here is a theory, the hampter you sacrifice isn't florp, but one of it's offspring. It appears that florp can reproduce, as there are eggs in the nest. That would explain why the hampter sacrificed is considered innocent flesh, while florp killed Sisyphus, and possibly Minos as well.

I haven't seen anyone comment about florp being a reference to the Ultrakill meme "Florp, Guardian of the Door", which was a giant, red abomination, with multiple hampter like faces.

I doubt possibility 2 is true since Florp is considered by Jakito as “Innocent flesh”, seeming to allude that it’s commited no sins (Or at least none seeing him worthy of damnation).

I also want to note that you can also see it in the background of 2-S on a missing poster, but only for a moment since the view is immediately blocked by mirage standing in the way, implying that it is capable of travel between the spaces of hell, explaining how it got into the wrath layers in the first place.

Ultimately, I think there’s absolutely no doubt that Florp is a being of great power who was instrumental in the killing of Sisyphus
