An Army Officer was commanding an RR Unit at Kishtwar those days. They got an intelligence about terrorists hiding in the upper reaches of Kishtwar. He took his team along and went hunting for the terrorists. They made contact with the terrorists who were well-entrenched in a Dhok (mud hut) - absolutely unfazed by bombs, grenades and gun fire. Two of the RR soldiers got wounded by terrorists’ gunfire. Seeing the plight of his men, the officer ordered Russian thermobaric to be fired upon the Dhok. The moment the thermobaric bomb hit the Dhok - the terrorists were charred to death instantly. Their burnt corpses were photographed and released in media for full public view. Seeing the end of those terrorists - no Pakistani terrorist ever dared to come to Kishtwar, at least till the time the officer was posted there.

Let us not hand over the corpses of terrorists killed to the pro-Pakistan Kashmiris. Let us reduce them to ashes on Electric Chairs and submerge those ashes in Jhelum/Ravi or better sprinkle them in the jungles of J&K. Do this unto 10 terrorists and 10, 000 of them will think 10, 000 times even before thinking of infiltrating to this side of border. Radical problems deserve radical solutions.
