My iPhone 13 mini dropped dead a couple of months back so have been using my wife’s iPhone 11. Can’t wait to upgrade. I’m glad they’ve reverted to mostly superficial differences between the Pro & standard models

I’m on a 6-year upgrade cycle. I got the XS Max when it came out in 2018 and the iPhone 5 when it came out 6 years before that. I’m excited to finally upgrade to the 16 Pro Max to rock another 6 years!

Unpopular opinion perhaps, but the Camera Control bar seems like a MBP TouchBar for the iPhone. Far too complicated - too many features put into one small area and too much for most people to remember what kinds of taps/pressure/etc to use.

The camera features and lens and such are awesome in the new iPhones, but nothing exciting enough for me to get rid of my 13 mini. I like that form factor too much, and hope Apple will do a mini every 4 years, as that would suit me just fine. :)

Can’t wait to have the camera control option for quick access to the camera and I’ll assign my action button to open my camera too. I think I’ll set both my Lock Screen shortcuts to open the camera app. And don’t forget you can swipe to the left on the Home Screen to get to the camera app. Oh and control centre, there’s a good shortcut there that opens the camera app.

I’m on the iPhone 12mini and I’m so excited to be upgrading to the 16 Pro in white titanium!!! I’m so excited for 5x zoom, Apple ProRAW, Dynamic Island, 120hz, and AI features! But most important to me are better heat dissipation and battery life. (My 12mini has trouble making it through the day when I’m using dating apps that use GPS)

Not having touch id on the camera control button is a missed opportunity. But anyways I will be upgrading from my iPhone 11 which I had for almost 4 years to the iPhone 16.

"worth upgrading" is for the 300+ million iphone users who are still using iphones at least 4 years old. People who think Apple need to make a completely makeover each generation, simply don't know how business works.

Currently on a 12 Pro Max and thinking will probably go for the 16+. It doesn’t seem like the extra features on the 16PM would be useful for me and I’m happy with the size of my current phone which is the same as the 16+.
