Why Men Should Play Cozy Games

➦ Cozy games have been known about by everyone in the gaming community for quite some time now, with the most prominent figures in the plain being titles like Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley. But, there are so many more out there, and they are life-changing experiences. The genre that brings so much comfort usually only appeals to women and people who have never played any game before, due to their blatant boredom they offer, and the lack of competitiveness alongside that. Men usually play games their entire life, so these games never appeal to them. I'm here to change that, and explain exactly why it needs to be changed.

I recently had this realization, that I constantly stress myself by watching intense movies/shows, or by playing games that take a toll on the mind. This video helped me understand that it is okay to take it easy. The world we live in is already putting so much weight on us, but the least we can do is put on some more. Thank you for sharing this video and helping so many of us. Keep it up man !!

My "cozy" game is actually Elden Ring and Tekken 7. I've gotten to a point where I've become so good at these two games that I play them while turning my mind off. It's so relaxing for me.

This video is beautiful, definitely a message that needs to be spoken aloud. I'll admit I haven't actually tried to sit and fully focus on a 'Cozy' game - leaning more towards games that trigger my anger issues 😅 But this video has absolutely inspired and pushed me to download stardew valley - which I only bought so my girlfriend could play it (Go figure huh?)

I really hope more people see this video, it's something a lot of people haven't heard that they need to - me included.

I haven't thought twice about subscribing - Keep up the fantastic work.

As a man who has played almost solely cozy games for years, you are speaking facts

As someone who loves a cozy game from time to time (even though I'm highly competitive and play mostly games like Smash, Street Fighter, Rocket League) I recommend A Short Hike to everyone. Fantastic little game. Really did wonders for me last year.

This is one of the reasons why I come back to playing Stardew Valley and Animal Crossing. That, and if I only have a half hour or so to game, it's something I can pick up and put down, then come back to later.

This hit quite close to home. I've personally never been interested in the competitive genre of games. Yes I have played them from time to time if my friends invited me, but they were never something I'd play by myself. I just didn't see the fun in spending countless hours shooting people to rank higher, I've always found the most enjoyment in calm games where I can do what I wanna do and at my own pace, like: Minecraft or Scrap Mechanic. Absolutely fantastic video!

Great video, friend. I never even thought about what some of these games is doing to me. WoW is my cozy game - I’ve been playing with friends for 10 years now and the music, art, and gameplay loop always feels like home.

So, I haven’t played a single online competitive game since about 2018. I got really stressed and frustrated, so I gravitated to story driven single player games and ‘cosy’ games like Animal Crossing and Stardew Valley. Yup, 39 y/o male with wife and kids, plays Animal Crossing. Gaming is my time to escape the pressures of daily life, not add to them - life’s to short to give a crap what others think.

Thanks for this great vid man
I’m 18 years old and I were obsessed and addicted with competetive games. Maybe I’m still, but I don’t touched a game for like 4 days now. And for me that’s really good progress because I losing the interest. I’m fighting with myself to never play this again. But the scary point is that I changed a lot in my life now because I stop watching esport k stop playing my old games and I’m scared of changes but I know o just should do something before it s getting worse than it was. This video helps me a lot to stay outside of these games. Since I spend so much money and time in these games I knew that’s a huge problem. I mean I spent 4-8 hours playing competetive games without having actual fun, just because of the dopamine ruhs in clutches and motivational wins. I playing now like 1-2 hours a day games like Minecraft or some cozy games too and I’m feeling better than ever. I want to tell to you that u just got a new sub and you really deserve it. This video helps me so much and I mean that a hidden gem in YouTube
Thanks for the offer for commenting that’s really kind
I really hope u are healthy and have good time
Thanks you <3

I just found your channel like a hidden gem mine. This video really made me realise how competitive games don't really make me happy in the long run. That's why i started playing Minecraft as my comfort game again, it still has a little bit of excitement but still doesnt have add that much toxicity to my life. Thank you for this video.❤

That was a very good video. I love that you started with this very good verse from Bible and finished with Solar Ash. We are all allowed to feel deeper than we're taught. That's good we have videos like yours pushing us to break the chains and get cozy :)
