You litterally read the quote and then misinterpreted it! It DID NOT say that teachers should not be evaluated, in only said that teachers should not be PAID based on said evaluations

First off sparky, there is no National teachers union. There is a National Organization which is an umbrella group for a number of unions in many different places in the country, but they are of no help to those of us in non-union States. Secondly, the so-called performance that you are referencing is the test scores of our students I'm sure that you are young enough to remember those kids in the classroom who did everything possible to not learn. When a student tells me that he's just going to drop out, there's nothing I can do about that and I can't do anything about his test scores either. Should I lose my job over that? Should I lose my job because a student goes hungry all the time and therefore can't learn as much as we would like? I would sincerely love to know your thoughts on this
