Japanese Super Nintendo Controller Differences | Super Famicom

Just something neat I'd like to share! There are a couple differences but nothing major.

I grew up for a while only knowing of the purple buttons, but a few years back when 8Bitdo released their sn30 pro controller with super famicom colors & convex buttons I enjoyed using that more than the North American design

I might have to say indexed buttons because I’m so used to the US controller. Plus I like how my thumb rests on them.

I live in france, if i order a super nintendo controller, i got the same controller but with "super nintendo" instead of "super famicom" ? Or they have difference ?

Fun fact. The Yoshis from Super Mario World were designed to represent the colors of the Super Famicom Controllers.

Yeah the UK had these as well imagine my surprise thanks to the power of the Internet years ago that the US controller was different to us haha

Concave and convex! Cave being dipped inward and vex being pushed outward!

In australia this is how a super Nintendo controllers look. Colours are the same

The normal snes has colourful buttons too, and if u dont believe it, i have proof

Bit late to the party considering the SFC came out in 1990, 1 year before the North American version 😂

I love my super famicom controller I got it for $1 ($10 coupon) and it works perfectly on my SNES + the colors are so much better
