Oh wow 😂 Simit Sarayı really made me laugh cuz it's a Turkish brand and actually in Turkey their pastries are pretty good. Still i am very happy that you liked 'simit' although it didn't seem very good and fresh, it actually needs to be warm and crunchy. Personally I've also been to the Simit Sarayı in London and i must say the taste is quite different from the one in Turkey. You should definitely try eating simit somewhere else if you can find 😂

Something completely random, because as a German I can totally relate to the driving in winter problem. There should be a little switch in your car that either makes the air circulate only in your car or that opens vents so that the air is also exchanged with the outside (sorry for that terrible explanation but I don‘t even know the name for that little thing in German 😂). Switch that one to the setting where the air stays only in your car. That helps to keep the cold air from the outside out.
In the morning, if your windows are still a bit steamy switch the little switch back to the setting where air is exchanged with the outside and turn on the a/c. That doesn‘t only cool the car but also takes the moisture out of the air. I hope this was helpful in any way and you see this. ☺️

Maybe this is common knowledge but especially the little switch that stops air exchange over night was a new one for me, that my brother told me recently about.
