Everything in mainstream is so artificial, synthesized drum beat snap track clap track bull crap, "artists" barely able to play a guitar, and voices so heavily auto tuned they sound like robots. This leads to us having music without meaning or emotion. Its all fake, and people are living fake lives based on that music. Billy and his band stand out like a light in a dark valley with this song, it lays heavy on the heart, it forces your ears listen to all the different sounds and emotions played through each instrument, that voice sounds like 90's country to me and I love it. For me, it kindles up old feelings for my wife that I haven't had in sometime. Such a breath of fresh air in this song, Ive been listening to it almost constantly for a few weeks now. All of that to simply say, Thanks Billy

Outside of Lee Brice's "Woman Like You", I struggle to think of another song I relate to more. I've often reflected on the dire, miserable mess that was my twenties, and I'd never change a thing for fear that it wouldn't mold me into the man I am today that is apparently deserving of my soon-to-be-wife.
