It says something about America when most of our youths hate going to school, loathe it really. Then this young lady is fighting for education so hard that when she gets shot in the face, she survives, and continues to advocate for education. My generation could learn a lot from her, and we're the same age. 

This amazing person Malala will one day be Prime Minister of Pakistan.... or the first foreign born person becoming Prime Minister of the UK.

This is an amazing speech, it is great that someone can rise from such trauma to having such passion for change. I particularly like her comparison of the cost of war to the cost of education. I think one educated citizen can do more for a county than hundreds of solders could do. I look forward to seeing what Malala accomplishes in the rest of her life, as she has so much more time to enact change.

this young woman is truly remarkable, she stood up for education and her rights even when her own life was threatened and after she nearly died still continues to fight for what she believes in truly remarkable i truly hoped she succeeds and the world meets her halfway because education and the pursuit of knowledge is a journey that helps us better ourselves and our lives and by educating everyone and i mean everyone in our societies we can truly progress as a civilization so i will continue to fight and educate myself and others in my life and society. thank you malala for continuing to remind us about the value of education with love from South Africa
