England's coronavirus alert levels explained

Lockdown measures across England will, from Wednesday, be governed by three Covid alert levels under plans set out by the prime minister.

The whole problem was caused by opening up all the schools and universities.
We have more cases now then when it all started.
I think we all deserve an apology at the utter disregard for us and the shambles of common sense that has wasted 5 months in lockdown.
Some of us have spent 4 months indoors and now they've stuffed it royally.
The death toll from Sept onwards is on our government now and to all those who spent it inside trying to help we ALL deserve a public apology from our government and prime minister for wasting time, effort and resources.
