What I found interesting at the 2025 Bauma show in Munich

Seen one of those hidromeks in person about 10 years ago and I was very impressed with the build quality and layout, stuff just put away out of the way, nice meaty components, well designed and well built. And the dump height is extraordinary, much better than the Cats or JCBs...

The hoses on the CASE has been a problem since the 1970s with the 580F, back into a peice of concrete and you take out the hoses, we used to weld a bit of rebar to protect them.

many different backhoes you look at. if I were to choose some of those brands, I would take the Hyrdema backhoe. because it is articulated and you can move around when you sit behind digging. no need to turn the seat all the time. plus the meadow is a must. If you want a really nice and good tractor, it's the Huddig. I don't know if they sell in England. but here in Sweden it's popular. you don't see much JCB backhoes here in Sweden. Only Huddig and Hyrdema and Finnish Länenn that apply

Very cool video! New case mini machines look very nice. TAB on a 2t/3t would be very useful!
Appreciate you had a limited amount of time but would’ve been nice to seen what’s new with machine control and technology as well as the big metal 👍🏼

Wow that Case hasn't changed a huge amount since the days of my FB100 days. Am surprized by that however the FB wasn't a bad machine really, Heavy and stable.

The price point of the case backhouse would be interesting. Personally i quite liked it a nice simple machine but as you say more of a 90s design.

Have you ever looked at the Komatsu Backhoe. I cut my teeth on one. Nice machine. WB70 I think

Hydrema would be handy in certain areas but the swivel is a weak point for stability imo

I got to play with Mecalac 12 MTX a couple years ago I would never go back to a TLB
