I believe the whole "Kursk" incursion is about the Sudzha LNG hub at the border. The whole double Mcguffin with the NPK ruse and long range fires was all for naught. Read up on all the lng transit across Uke rain and the EU and it suddenly makes sense why they are there and why they are clinging so desperately to it. IMHO
