I love this Bruce Lee quote “ Don’t pray for an easy life, pray for strength to experience a difficult one” .

I have a pretty rough life up until now at 28 years old. I do sometimes think about what’s it like to have an easy life where I’m taken cared of and don’t have to worry about anything but that sounds pretty boring.

I realise that I love achieving the difficult goals I set for myself physically, financially and intellectually. I love to work hard, struggle and come out the other side as a better man.

Although I doubt life will ever get easier for me but I’m thankful for my healthy body, loving family and the strength to come out on top regardless of how difficult life can be

This is my perspective. I used to want the easy life, the ideal life. Then I had severe anxiety for a couple of decades, which got so bad my system popped into phycocis, now I'm diagnosed bipolar, had six stays in physc ward, now stuck on antipsychotics. Antipsychotics SUCK. And so was anxiety. So yeah all I can work out is life, for most, is meant to be tough and a challenge. It all comes from God. Life, and everything in it is destiny. But following on from JPs point about an easy life, it does feel great to overcome something. I overcame anxiety. But now I have a new challenge, antipsychotics. I'd say antipsychotics are harder than severe anxiety. I think at the end of my life I'll be pleased I led a hard life filled with suffering, it seems it's more rewarding.
