Are you sure they don’t mix? The Jam and especially The Clash are some of the greatest punk bands of all time and they both arguably fit into this genre, and I’d personally say both fit into this genre. “Just Who Is The Five O’Clock Hero” and “Guns Of Brixton” are both class Ska and Punk songs
