If you've ever wondered what a city would look like if you never placed an expansion, this is the answer! I started my Tiny Town in 2019, and have been pushing it higher ever since! I hope you enjoy this look at a weird way to play the game.

Very unusual but intriguing content! I'd be curious to see more of these vids.

Sniping with Arc produces thousands of FP per day in the right hands. Combine that with CF and farming RQs to produce vast amounts of goods, coins, and supplies. The rest of the space can be used for military. This involves more active play, but will allow extremely faster progression.

This is the content I like to see in FoE. Thanks for this video :)

I recommend doing settlements, if coins and supplies allow it. Through settlements you can get allies to assign into you’re town-hall, most importantly from ancient Egypt. As ancient Egypt gives 2 units/day from the town hall without the need of more space. Vikings can be an interesting pick too for 3x3 building and 30% attack buff, to improve further upon you’re city’s production and buffs without the need to sacrifice much more space

I love this idea. Very challenging and you must think differently. (I tried advancing skipping Story Quests and the Campaigner map but gave it up)

Great video and idea and one that's really aesthetically pleasing- usually high Era towns look a mess! Maybe if i ever feel that i've "caught up" with the game i'll start a second World and come up with my own challenge run.

Nice job!!! I love it when someone does something dumb successfully!! It must have been hard to ditch the arc!!

Max settlement buildings would be a huge help with this playstyle i think.

I'm starting over on Tiny Towns, building my second one in two years (the first one was deleted). I believe the trick is to go and eke out every advantage of reverse scaling you can get. What do I mean by that? Well certain buildings like the Oracle are relatively expensive to level for their age, but there is a space premium where GBs that have tighter footprints have a better productivity per tile compared to their roomier brethren (like the Notre Dame compared to the Oracle, which produce the same thing). Like you, I'm using the Babel and Oracle only as stepping stones until better event buildings or GBs make more sense.

As for slooow, I'm in about 11 days into a 3 week camp in the Bronze Age. The goal is to get Bronze Age event buildings to generate Bronze Age goods before moving up to Iron Age, where I'll spend at least a year. In BA you can run the Have 4 spearmen/Have 4 slingers repeatable every 20 minutes to an hour (depending on guild level), which on average generates 6 goods and about 0.8 FP [packetized] per 2-quest cycle. With a little goods trading up and down and event awards, I have already netted 2, 389 BA and 1, 705 IA goods while still in Bronze Age.

Also the Drummer and Bannerguard are godly units in BA, and coupled with spearmen slay most battles found in quests. When moving up to IA, I'll still be exploiting Drummers/Bannerguards plus Zeus bonus to make Spearmen stronger than the IA light units. The goal here is to arrive in IA with goods production at 85 BA and 54 IA per day, enough to negotiate all of GE 3 and most weeks GE 4.

I'll use the Arc long enough to collect all the prints needed, and then probably delete it while keeping an Obs for Treasury Goods. My other GBs planned out for are the Seed Vault for current goods, supplies, and diamonds, and the Star Gazer for prior era goods (especially if I decide to stay perma-Iron Age).

This city has started on the USA Server, Dilmun world, under the handle Gentleman Farmer. I should be leaving Bronze Age by October 9, 2023.

Hello Uber! I would like to ask that, have you considered putting down the Himeji Castle, even though it's a 6x6 but it provides a massive amount of supplies and additionally it gives great rewards, such as Goods, Rouges and FPs. I know the chance is not too high but it well worth your time. Furthermore, I bet this is probably and most possibly not your first world, so you must've considered joining an active and helpful guild. IMO many people who do this challenge gets some outside help, at least initially to get things going (farming BPs for GBs, unfair good trades for GBs or to make many goods by trading down, also figthing bonuses, extra FP from the Town Hall, GBG rewards etc.)

I have a thematic town, a Silk Road town, so Asian buildings and the Turkish buildings. I don't have an Alcatraz but I do have a Chateau and an Arc, as well as a Blue Galaxy and currently the AI Core and the Spaceship to help with special goods. My goal is to reach Virtual Future, where I will remove all of the buildings that do not support the theme (except for the Arc and the Blue Galaxy, you can argue that Asian countries have some futuristic architecture too :P). But everything else will go, including event buildings that do not fit the theme. they are down now to produce me a lot of goods and forge points, so I have a stack for later when I won't have as many of them. Once I reach Virtual and went through the tech tree, I will place all the Japanese themed buildings from the era. It's the perfect age for this theme, with the cool cyberpunk Japanese buildings. I'm currently in Arctic and cannot wait to finally settle in Virtual.

You could have just built himeji castle to get infinite supplies forever. And goods and fp. And diamonds and rouges.
What I'm thinking could be a good strategy for a modern challenge of this kind is to get himeji and blue galaxy. Then a panda shrine as long as possible. Then fill the rest with sunhaven palaces to produce jester stages and slowly replace them with the jester stages as you get them, ending up with just those 4 building types: Himeji, BG, Panda, Jester. I don't know if having no attack boost is viable, but going for it may not make a difference if you can't get enough to win.

Alternatively if some ludicrous event building presents itself you can go for that. For example in that one event I got 21 sparkforge stormspires at gold level. 6 fp 1 good and 6% attack per tile without need for road. Assuming there will be more of these ludicrous buildings maybe ditch blue galaxy and just do himeji for the infinite supplies along with all the other boosts.

Hello, thank you for this and all videos....I don't know if it was asked before, but why don't you build an Himeji Castle? It is big, but produces lots of supplies even on lvl 1. And you might get some very useful rewards from fighting.

How did you advance your Greta buildings so fast? Or did you spend a ton of diamonds? I have a big problem getting blueprints for the buildings I'm trying to develop.
