Great review, thanks, I went for a Go based on your previous review but would consider this if I need another one.

Thank you for such a good content. Watching your videos I decided to buy a 360 camera for my videos.

Nice test Rich. Still thought the sound from the Rode was better. We are big fans on our channel of the Rode Wireless Go2, works so well with the Insta 360 One X2. Range and battery life are brilliant. We use it to get duel audio from two motorcycles onto on camera.

Hey there - liked your video :) Do you know if the clip on the M18 fits in a cold shoe mount & holds it firm?

I am still using the One X. There is no way to attach an external mic, is there? Thanks for this great review—as always!

This would be a good alternative for some use cases, especially when the unit would be at risk of damage or loss. The primary reason I'm considering the Rode is for the stereo pair option.

I might be blind but do you hav links to the mic and the holder for the onex2. Got my camera looking to get started on some vlogging and stuff and def need good audio. Over all great video as usual

Test with the dji wireless mic I would really point to see the One X2 with that

Very interesting results Rich!

Is it worth me playing devil's advocate here, by quoting the old saying "you can be forgiven for bad video, but not bad audio!". In the long term, maybe it's better to bite the bullet and invest in the good stuff that'll last longer?

I got eye on the DJI audio system. There's not much difference in their system, when compared to the Rode 2. The only major difference is the DJI system can connect to a smartphone, which increases its flexibility

Hi Rich, is there an extra thing that goes between the type C connector and the Insta 360 R?

Hi again Rich, do you think the Dji would work with the Ulansi clip also and keep out of view? Really like the mic, it looks a better option for using with a smart phone as well as a 360. The Sarmonic ones are expensive too and hard to get it seems.

Thanks for the great review, one question though, can the reciever be plugged directly into the Insta360 One RS with the supplied USB C cable or is the external Mic option still necessary?

buying this or the m18 for my x2....is there anything else needed to buy, hardware - battery/mic mount etc? or does this connect right to the camera and do whatever we do?

Thanks for the review. Audio sounded great with the Sony but terrible with the insta 360 with a lot of S whistling. What do you think?
