Fire HD 8 Kids Tablet: Forgot Password? Reset Password Lose Nothing!

I show you how to reset your password or PIN (won't lose anything) if you forgot it on the Amazon Fire HD 8 Kids Edition Tablet (should be same as Kids Pro model). Hope this helps.

Mine keeps saying “change your password via the Lock Screen” but will not let me change the password or pin anywhere.

I don't get the password recovery it just keeps asking if I want to try, or I can have another adult account reset it, but I can't get to my setting without my password.... lol

Ours doesnt have a reser option and a factory reset option for some reason

We have 3 Kindle Fires and none of them offer the forgot password option

OK I figured it out. You have to log-in to Amazon acct on another device. Go to devices and press remote lock. It should prompt you to set up a one time pin. That one time pin did not work, BUT after that the forgot pw option was there after which prompted me to use my Amazon pw again and set up a new pw. After that I was able to log-in with the pin I just set up.

So I changed my internet company to another company. So when I tried to put in the new WiFi it told me to put the pin. Which I forgot it. So I can’t reset the pin without internet. And I can’t put in the new Wi-Fi without the pin, so I’m screwed any help or ideas how I can reset the pin without the Internet???
