I AM ABOUT TO TRY BLUE HYDRANGEA ... THIS WAS VERY HELPFUL ... TYVM ...

I loved that seal much more than the one currently used. I wish they would seal them again with the former seal. Because the new seal can be messy, not coming off completely or tearing sticking stubbornly onto the pint.

Like the video, would have liked to see the end result. I have seen in the comments to email, but probably easier to just show the pic of it. I assume the base coat was leather and then muddy waters over the top. On the plate which is white opal and cobalt wash, did you make the lines (chattered carved etc, or was this a result of the glaze running?
jasonkohlmeier
In my studio, we store these glazes upside down. They're easier to mix when we're ready to use.
gsandau
Yes, Id like to see what the end result as well

I’ve recently bought Muddy Waters and this is very helpful. I fire to a cone 8 and will only apply this glaze to top third of the pot, would this be okay?
suze
Ahhh. Guess I didn’t put on enough glaze. Came in like your 1 coat.

Thanks for this. Very helpful
Question: The use of "I'm going to go ahead and..." is super distracting.
ThatWriterWriter
But the first photo shows like he’s going to use a pattern on it different places, but you only use one glaze what happened to the others

5 layers...beautiful but it runs ...so it will stick to the kiln?
dodder
Mine was way thicker. Like glue. I added a bit of water. Fired to cone 10. Came out with no gloss . Help!

how many celcius should my oven be for the glaze to work please???
Andreas-dqus
Has to be applied to Bisque fired clay ? Confusing, I know some of your glazes can be applied to greenware.
lisalovelylpa
should crystals be used on food dishes, I read something about only to be used on decorative wear?
afay
So I tried this and after I put 2-3 Coats of muddy waters on the inside like shown the glaze cracked when it dried fully? Will it still work or do I need to start over or apply another coat? It’s also hard to find the crystals. What happens when the crystals are gone, etc. i see you scoping them from the plate, will it be like this every time.
jasonkohlmeier
Can I use jungle crystal glaze on stoneware and fire up to 1200?
marelouisesmit
What glazes are on the plate you are using?

Is there a picture of this bowl after its been fired?
lisamason
Great instructional video, still would be nice to have a picture of how that bowl came out though. I'm very curious.
