Turning The Cover of Gojira's 'The Way Of All Flesh' into Ambient Midi Art

Using the album cover of Gojira's The Way Of All Flesh to create some ambient midi art!

Carrying on with some midi art while on hand rest. This time is the album cover of 'The Way Of All Flesh'. This time I decided to keep all the notes in it. Once some had been removed to put it in a key the image became really disjointed and not very recognisable. So this time I aimed to just create something that built tension and was really just a bit unnerving.

I drew on the idea of 'the way of all flesh' so put in some ticking clocks for the idea of the passing of time over a synth wash. There's also staccato woodwind and strings to help build up the layers and a little cheesy, but I put in a heartbeat over the heart.

Overall I feel it achieves a sense of unease and tension and was fun to experiment again with some different sounds and ideas.
