These 3 special chords sound amazing together. You might think, well they are all a mode, but not really, like this it is different, and these modal chords sound amazing! 🙂

You have really opened my eyes to all the ways you can slice a 2-5-1. Thank you

Great Video Jens. I like the second D minor 7 add 11, 13 with the first G7 sus4 flat 9 and first C Major 7#4. Combines both step wise and skip wise Voice Leading. Here's one of my favorite smooth voice leading Major 2-5-1's. This is in Degrees, bottom to top, top 4 strings. D minor 7 add 11, 13-mi.7, mi.3, mi.11, mi.13.-G7 sus 4 flat9-sus4, 5, 1, flat9.(Holdsworth stretch for the flat 9)-C Major 6/7-1, Ma.3, Ma.6, Ma.7- C Major 7 sharp 4-1, sharp 4, 5, Ma.7. Thanks.

These look like chords you'd find in Ted Greene's Chord Chemistry Book. How did you come up with these voicings? That would be a nice video topic.

I like the 1st 2. I can't find anything to use them on so I have to make up my own song.

I have found this video to be very intriguing. I'm curious how this relates to whole step key changes from the key of C Major to the key of Bb Major from the G minor perspective with a relative center key of F Major. I have found that this type of perspective allows me to move clockwise and counter-clockwise around the center key with the actual keys and modes becoming ever increasingly blured in a melodically harmonious way.
