Με μια λαμπρή τελετή, που πραγματοποιήθηκε χθες στο Λευκό Οίκο, τίμησε η Αμερικανική κυβέρνηση και ιδίως ο Αμερικανός πρόεδρος Τζο Μπάιντεν, την επέτειο της ημέρας Ανεξαρτησίας της Ελληνικής Δημοκρατίας, δίνοντας μεγάλη έμφαση στις πολύ καλές σχέσεις, που διατηρούν μεταξύ τους οι δυο χώρες και οι οποίες έχουν αναβαθμιστεί ακόμα περισσότερο τα τελευταία χρόνια.
Φυσικά, κατά τη διάρκεια της εορταστικής αυτής τελετής, υπήρξαν και πολλές εκπλήξεις, όπως η παρουσία του διάσημου Αμερικανού ηθοποιού Τομ Χανκς και της συζύγου του, αλλά και η αναφορά του Αμερικανού προέδρου, στον πρόεδρο της επιτροπής Εξωτερικών Σχέσεων του Κογκρέσου και φιλέλληνα Ρόμπερτ Μενέντεζ, που τον αποκάλεσε πανέξυπνο, σκληρό και Έλληνα.
Αυτά ήταν και τα κύρια σημεία που έσπευσαν να αναφέρουν οι δημοσιογράφοι πολλών ελληνικών μέσων ενημέρωσης, με άρθρα τους, κυρίως στον ηλεκτρονικό τύπο, αφήνοντας όμως κάποια πράγματα, που εμείς βρήκαμε, ως ιδιαίτερα σημαντικά και σοβαρά και που πιστεύουμε ότι μας αφορούν όλους και γι αυτό πρέπει να τα αναφέρουμε.
