I like this review and I agree with you on many points - most notably being a bit tired of this iteration of Nicole Kidman. I did find it interesting as a hk expat myself to see how we are presented in fiction however. Also, random note, although I do not have live in help, it’s actually not really a sign of wealth here, as you said. Many middle class families have it as the wages for helpers are reaaally low, and hk wages are quite high, so it’s often a money saving technique.
