This was super helpful. One tip I have for anyone don’t do what I did first and leave it to dry with the bubble touching the card. The glue re activated!! Try and keep the card and plastic parts separate during the drying process to preserve the bottom text of car model. Thanks again

Just got my very first Hot Wheels and it's cute as hell. So i asked myself "open it or not?", then i saw this video and you saved me. I tried this trick and it works like a charm and now i'm enjoing my car without damaging the cardbox. The only thing people need to pay attention is when you extract the model, because it can touch the acetone and ruin it. So be careful.

I love your video. Kind of messed up doing first two times. But with practice the blister just falls off. The thing is we need to soak in enough of nail polish remover. It would literally come off easily. Happy uncarding!!

New collector here, why it’s important to keep the packaging if you don’t plan to sell it? I was thinking about using this method to separate the back card without damaging it and keep these cars since you can easily stack and store them, but the plastic part can be bulky and be a problem to store when you reach certain number of them.
