As someone who has worn glasses my entire life, I can confirm that using my phone for visual enhancement does indeed make me feel like a cyborg.

The last is so accurate it's like when you first wear a new frame and you don't see well with it and your family is like "wow it suit you so well" and your like "hum... if you say so, I don't really see myself"

I love that my closest friends have glasses too, so they all understand my pain and won't question anything when we have glasses-related problems.

That phone thing is actually so useful. When I go out to restaurants and stuff and can't see the menu (like when it’s framed behind the counter), I use my phone camera to zoom in or take a photo and look. It’s so easy.

My girlfriend once held up her phone and was pointing it at me, and when I asked if she was failing to subtly take a picture of me, she informed me that she was doing exactly what Inspector Gadget was. My mind was Blown.

She loves to get grumpy about my 20:20 vision. (All it means is that I get to see her pretty little face no matter how far across the room she is)

I have a very short sighted left eye and a slightly long sighted right eye. Because of the lenses i have to wear, rhings appear slightly larger in my right eye and slightly smaller in my left, along with my left lens being much stronger than rhe right one. The brain sorts out the information, so i can see without noticing it So I love to let people try them on to hear "what the heck ia wrong with your eyes?!" Every time as they try to figure out why their arms are different sizes.

I once saw an ad about glasses with an owl as a mascot, and involved a women not liking the price she paid for her glasses. The owl then tells her that she could’ve saved more the glasses being commercialized. All I could think about was why didn’t he mention that to her in the first place, and what was the point of saying that to her, if she already bought the glasses.
