The old engine was tired on the golf cart, so I swapped in a new one. Go to Vegas Carts and they can hook you up with a swap kit or with the individual parts. This stock Harbor Freight 420cc engine works great for the golf car. With the stock governor on the engine, it reaches top speed of 14mph with the small tires. But has enough torque to push the race car around the pits with ease!

I have one in a race cart that runs on e85 and we ported and welded the head. People put a shit ton on money in the 212s. They make a billet block. Some guys have more in these mini bike engines then I have in my turbo set up.
