I never understood why the asgard in sg-1 never wore clothes. The offshoot in Atlantis wore protective armored suits. Even with personal shields that we're assuming were inserted rectally, it would be reasonable to have some sort of protective clothing, given their interactions with so many other hostile species.

While I like the upscaling for the actors and sets, the CGI is showing it's age in places.
But frankly, I like to see an old show showing it's age. Star Trek TOS, TNG, DS9... They were all made in their time and the quality of production marks the passage of time in entertainment's evolution to the modern day.
Seeing Star Gate, Babylon 5, etc... just shows how far we've come, and how no matter the CGI, it's the whole thing wrapped up in the show the CGI supports that counts.

People don’t understand just how spectacular these visual effects were back when this show debuted! I mean this was over 20 years ago and it still doesn’t look half bad. Man SciFi channel really had some good shows before they became trash like today 😭 SG1 always had A class actors that would guest star in its show
