Atmor AT-910-24TP AT-D24TP-AZ ThermoPro 24 kW / 240V 4.6 GPM Digital Thermostatic Tankless Electric Instant Water Heater 24kW/240V Gray

Specially equipped to heat incoming water as low as 37°f at 2.45 gpm
Easy to use digital temperature control in 1-degree increments
Requires three 40 amp double pole breakers
Warranty: 7 years against leakage and 2 years parts
High quality stainless steel interior components

The ATMOR thermopro tankless water heater revolutionizes water heating with self modulating technology that provides unlimited hot water when you need it, without the wait. Advanced technology regulates the amount of energy required to heat the water. This delivers major savings on energy bills and lowers water consumption. The easy-to-use digital panel allows full control with the power to make temperature adjustments down to the exact degree for the perfect water temperature. Compact, space-saving design requires no venting and can be installed anywhere inside your home or garage. Unit is IP54 certified to keep internal components safe and dry. Durable and corrosion resistant stainless steel interior assembly allow for heating efficiency and longer life expectancy. Perfect for moderate to warm climates, the 24Kw/240V, 4.6 gpm capacity is ideal for small to medium sized homes that will be running up to 4 applications at once, such as: 2 Showers (1.5 gpm/shower head), 1 kitchen sink (1 gpm), and 1 bathroom sink (.5 gpm) at inlet temperatures of 73 degrees F. Colder climates that require a higher temperature rise will reduce the amount of applications and GPM (gallons pers minute). Choosing your tankless heater depends on your incoming water temperature, flow rate, number of applications and your desired output temperature. Colder inlet water temps require a much higher temperature rise.

Love your video, it was so "real life." Most of the time when I do it myself, I do something wrong or otherwise end up going to Home Depot several times. A lot of videos on Youtube don't reflect this reality.

Just got a tankless water heater yesterday and when looking at the intructions at the electrical setup... nightmare, couldn't read it, bare bare minimum with the instructions. This video, is exactly what I was looking for! Thanks so much!

Over tightening your pipe fittings causes cracks in your lighter fittings and that level will also work for leveling your conduit also. But you got hot water and no leaks and you didn't get electrocuted so job well done!!!

If you have never messed with ac voltage, don't try this as your first project, you can really get hurt or dead. This video is to show what it takes to go from a tank water heater to a tankless, on a budget, if you do it yourself. I have done both electrical and plumbing in the past, but I am not a certified plumber nor electrician, all experience comes from growing up on a ranch. If the information has flaws, it is because we are all flawed humans doing our best to make it with the time we are given.

Since you installed the water heater so high on the wall... a failure inside the water heater that would allow water to leak (though very unlikely) will funnel perfectly into your breaker box via the conduit.

Great job . You guys are a cute couple. I installed mine myself as well, except I didn’t put the expansion valve in because there is no “ tank”. Plus the unit has a flow sensor. I live in SW florida and my install was identical to yours. Been working awesome for a year now. Keep up the great vids.

Just curious, why didn't you just use the electric led that powers your water tank for the tankless unit?

Loved the video! Appreciated the MIB reference and feel like i found a brother. Whenever i crack the case and figure out where the leak is- no one is ever around. Glad i could be there for you. Subbed.

As a licensed Electrical Contractor all I can say is Wow! So many things that are not safe and done wrong not to code. I only hope you never have any problems.

My shower is 60 ft from my electric box.. shouldn’t I install this unit closer to the shower than the service box so that the water gets warmer faster?

What would have made it a bit easier is buying individual # 8 wire then buying 8/3 romex wit ground . All you would have needed is 3# 8 black, 3 #8 black and one # 8 green 7 wires total . So much easier than dealing with that 8/3 romex with ground with a total of 12 individual wires plus the sheathing of each cable to deal with

Have you had any issues with sediment in your shower heads? I have been tankless for ten years and finally realize I need a filter, maybe on the outlet side of the hot water? I have city water and no filters in the house. I have cleaned the shower heads but then the build up happens fast.

I prefer cold water heaters. Not really fond of heating hot water since it is already hot, but i guess hot water heaters have their place in the world.

What about the existing electric connection for the tank water heater? Is that now eliminated?
