The first time I used that machine, a was too close to the machine and not sustaining the exercise (if that make sense). A guy came and said: let me teach you how to do it and later made me do it as he did. He left and never saw him again.

isnt the wide grip more for the rear delts? in my case i would prefer to choose the narrow grip to target the traps a bit more but keep the same position as in the video!

do machine rows also work (same vertical grip) because i prefer them for the stability that the chest support gives and also for the flexibility (i can easily switch from 2 to 1 hand)

Want to grow your lats, do pull ups, if you can't do pukl ups, use resistance band for support, i do it myself and am grinding for a great aesthetic physique like Leon Edwards.

No, just no… There is a reason why bodybuilders (natural and enhanced)
use a little torque on seated cable rows and barbell rows. If you do them strict it will be shortened biased and you will need more volume to compensate for the reduced stimulus but if you allow your shoulders to roll forward and use a little jerk for the last quarter of an inch you flatten the resistance profile. A slight cheat on seated cable rows and barbell rows isn’t cheating, it is optimal.

Why extending all the way on a mostly high contraction tension mouvement, there is litteraly no point except getting the tension off the targeted muscle if you don’t have perfect usage of your lats. Barely any benefits.
