The craziest alarm clock ever

High school, I went to a military school. There was a guy (Lawrence) who was ALWAYS in trouble because he couldn't get up in the morning. One day, while in the Marine Corps, I turn a corner, and there he is, larger than life. The Marine Corps is no place to be if you are a fan of sleep. I asked Lawrence how he managed to survive this long. He said "Back then, I had no incentive to get up in the morning, now I do."

When I was in the army, we bought one of these for a friend. After a night of drinking and such, he woke up to lights flashing under the bed, the bed vibrating and the loudest alarm ever. He found out about his new alarm clock present at like 5am😂😂😂

My brother is deaf in one ear, so when we were younger my mom got him an alarm that had the paddle and it would vibrate under his pillow. Problem is as he tended to sleep on his deaf ear and couldn’t hear it vibrate. You’d think he would feel it but apparently it was either weak or my brother’s will to sleep was just stronger. Meanwhile I was a very light sleeper and while my room was on the opposite side of the second floor from my brother we shared the same wall. And I can’t tell you how many times my brother would accidentally set his alarm for the weekend and I wake up from hearing the vibration echo down the wall into my room and then angrily go into my brother’s room and shake him awake 😂

My father-in-law had a "Whirlybird" alarm clock. When it went off the whirlybird would TAKE OFF and go flying across the room. You had to get up, find it, and turn it off.

For the really deep sleepers, they should have something like one of those dog shock collars on a timer. I guarantee you that you will no longer be hard to wake.

I feel so different from everyone in this area:
1. I don’t like to sleep
2. When I hear my alarm, i immediately jump out of bed and turn it off, no lying back down or anything
3. 90% of the time I don’t even hear my alarm since I wake up 1-5 minutes before it so I just turn it off

My teenager needs this. I can set his Alexa with 20 alarms, his phone with 20 alarms and his radio with all the alarms. The only alarm that actually works at waking him up is I, his mother, after getting woken up by all his alarms through the wall that our rooms share...
