I had someone yell at me this week, that the only reason that I wanted him discharged was so I could put a private patient in his bed...🙄. Excuse me sir, this is an NHS hospital and ward and I am an NHS nurse, there will be no private patients on this ward. GO HOME!!!😂

Had a semi-wholesome version of this happen to me working as a young doctor in HK. Old ladies kept trying to give me lai see (red packets) at Chinese new year and I had to keep handing them back. One tried to throw the envelope down on my desk before hightailing it to the door and I had to run after her to make sure she took it back 😂

Had people behave like that, then come to find out they're on Medicaid.
The best is when they try to get you to commit insurance fraud by using someone else's card.

Every time I have been in ER I have been courteous, kind and patient. When I get seen the nurse said I should have spoken up because I was an actual emergency. 🆘. I don’t want to be rude but San Francisco ER’s are an interesting place 🫤. Love Nurses & Doctors! Thank you for all you do. ❤
