Anyone can recommend substitute for bicycle spokes where you'd get the threaded ends?

Welding rods for gas or tig welding would make a good alternative to bicycle spokes. You might can find what you need in the welding section of a Harbor Freight if you do not have a welding supply store near by.

You forgot to tell everybody that spokes are galvanized and are bad to cook with with out removing galvanize
