Jesus Will Help you! Jesus brought me the very bible He wanted me to read and I read it with Him..every word. He Showed me what was relevant for me and I marked what He Showed me. I agree that we must take what resonates. For some reason even as a child Paul never sat well with me. Do not care for him at all. Christians practically deify him. He who never met the requirements of an apostle and in fact was self proclaimed.

Hi John, I just wanted to share the craziest thing with you…my daughter who is 22 years old is wanting to take a dental assistant program…so she was working on getting her papers and requirements together for probably next fall to this college…she has said to me a couple of times she is sick of her job and wished she could start sooner…shes mentioned this about 10 times so far so this morning she gets a call from the college and they tell her if shes ready she can start in January with her program…of all the calls she gets, she gets that one after she has mentioned that to me…coincidence maybe but I believe she created that manifestation herself

I asked the Lord to lead me to the truest version of the Bible and shortly after that I came across the Hebraic Roots Bible. It is a more loving translation. For example, in Luke 14:26 in the King James Version, the verb is 'hate' whereas in Luke 14:26 in the Hebraic Roots Bible, the verb is 'love less than', a considerable difference in meaning.

When I was trying to follow Catholicism in the recent last four years or so I started listening to the EWTN broadcasts all the time. I discovered there that the Catholic Church side steps the whole flawed Bible complaint by assuming authority of the message of salvation. I guess this came about because of the Protestants breaking away and pointing to the Bible as their sole source of authority for salvation. The Catholics call that approach to salvation a “solo scripte” (spelling? It’s Latin) approach. This is what the majority of non-Catholics do is try to read the Bible for a set of steps that will save their souls. I’ve been on all sides of this issue both as a Protestant and a Catholic and now as a student of the John of New teachings on being one with God. The message i received is I AM the authority and I can use any and all parts in the Bible that I choose or whatever other source (written or not written) I choose to support my increasing oneness with God without limit.

When the child grows older and dies, he will be shown his acts in such a way that he will feel everything he put people through. I understand this because of the great number of NDEs I've seen or read about. I hope the child can hear my prayers because he's going through it, has gone through it and when he dies will go through it again.

I was always taught growing up, not by my folks but by whatever religious institution we were frequenting at the time, that the Bible is the infallible word of God and is truth. However the preachers of my youth did not preach sermons from the old testament books and verses like Deuteronomy etc where "God" condones killing, slavery and many other unsavory acts. Those things were obviously mans works having nothing to do with our true creator. So I think we definitely have to pick and choose if we want to hold onto them at all

I am of the opinion that it is not necessary to throw the Baby Jesus out with the bath water.

I believe most of these “teachings of Jesus” are practical for us living now.

As you mentioned Love. If only we would dive deep into the Sea of Love, we could find many treasures.

If we could ever learn to combat Hate with Love, I believe we would be more God-like.

Martin Luther King used the principles of non-violence to combat the racism and hate back in his day. Because of this way of being and acting, segregation as it was then, does not exist now.

There are no bed of Roses without some thorns…..so here we are now…..still fighting ourselves over silly stuff!

And his dream should be our dream as well…..that of unity and peace through understanding and love.

Jesus and Martin were killed, but their message of love is still alive today, and cannot be killed!
