Relive the thrilling pre-season clash between Celtic and Manchester City in Chapel Hill! #Celtic #ManchesterCity #Football #GoalFest #ChapelHill
Celtic continued to step up their Stateside pre-season prep with a hugely entertaining 4-3 win over Premier League champions Manchester City in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Brendan Rodgers' side were ruthless as he renewed his old rivalry with Pep Guardiola in this Stateside Battle of Britain.

City had been sieve-like in defence in the first half and Celtic took full advantage as Nicolas Kuhn scored with a pair of fine finishes that sandwiched City winger Oscar Bobb's equaliser. The winger did well to find the space on both occasions and beat Stefan Ortega well. He would add an assist to his superlative first-half cameo as Matt O'Riley found him in space and he then played a delicious outside-of-the-foot pass into the path of Kyogo, who controlled it brilliantly before rounding the keeper and firing home.

With a raft of changes in the second half, Massimo Perrone scored for City early into the second half as Celtic switched off and Erling Haaland equalised with a towering header above Liam Scales at the back post.

The Kenan Stadium then erupted once more as Luis Palma found the winner. Kwon broke the City offside trap with a perfectly-timed run which sent him clear and allowed him the time to look up and find the Honduran winger at the back post for a tap-in to win the game.
