I’ve always agreed with most of your points on the subject. I do feel it only pertains to some people though. Not everybody is trying to prevent hair-loss to look more appealing to other people. Some simply want to look better in their own eyes and I don’t see anything wrong with that. The problem is doing it for anybody other than yourself, that IS weakness.

Little tip if you're scared of rejection: Practice it - if you're at the shops at the counter, ask if you can make an announcement, for instance, any situation where you'll obviously be told *no* .

Also, any advice for introverts trying to follow Nick's 10 Commandments? I might struggle not because I'm selfish, but because I really struggle being around people for long periods of time, so making my life more about others will be a major challenge

I think the reason you aren't thinning fast or at all is because you don't stress about it much and take care of it well. Didn't you say you take a non sulfate shampoo? You actually look like you have more hair now than before

Yeah, in a lot of cases hair loss does slow down massively during the 30s. James Rolfe is one example; he had a pretty rapid period of hair thinning during the end of his 20s and beginning of his 30s, but then it slowed down and he remained looking the same year after year, and now he's 40 and his hair is perfectly fine. There's also a lot of historical figures who lost much of their hair during their youth, but then in subsequent decades lost very little and ended up having much more hair at 50 or 60 or 70 than you would have expected. Society has expectations of hair loss kind of backwards in that it thinks it's an old person issue when it's actually a young person thing.
