1. Timid (adjective) = a bit shy or nervous
2. mime (noun) = type of act that you use your body and your facial expressions so you don't speak or make sounds
3. scarcely (adverb) = only just, not much
4. enduring (adjective)= long-lasting
5. flip side or on the flip side (noun) = something that's opposite to what you've been discussing or what you're talking about that is often less popular or less positive
