If men lost testosterone like we lose estrogen…. testosterone replacement therapy would be 100% covered no questions asked. 🙄

Period=I don't miss it, Hot Flashes=weird and not as uncomfortable as I assumed they would be and they fade, Mental Health=Better, I feel that hormonal craziness...Gone, feel more balanced, the blah feeling=I don't get worked up over drama, it's more like "hey, I don't bother with things that don't work for me" . I changed my diet to higher protein and no rules for anything else. If I don't feel amazing after eating it=bye bye it's off the menu. I don't take drugs, no replacement therapy.

One little known symptom that I had (and went to a holistic doctor ) was all my joints ached! I got tested for EVERYTHING but in the end it was yet another symptom of menopause.

I'm watching this video and I've had to stop it because I'm shocked. I feel like crap every day of my life (it's been going on for over a year) and I have spent all my money and time in tests and treatments. This could be the key!! I'm 47 and I may be experiencing p-menopause! Thanks for this new approach!!!

I had no idea I was in perimenopause or menopause since I had a hysterectomy in 2011. When I finally figured it out 12 years later, I can't believe how little people talk about it. Thank you for sharing this info!

I’m new to your channel and so glad I found you. This is a positive message that more women need to talk about. I’m 49 peri and working my way through this. I don’t want to be invisible and fade away 😊 I want to be the light that shines !

As a "perennial crying woman in her 51", full of weight, of trouble, of hot fleshes, I want to Say thanks. Because it's really hard and your words are a great support and a Hope for the future...

Peri-menopause was terrible, but everything has gotten better since I am fully in menopause for over a year now. During peri-men, I had hormone swings and felt crazy; but now that I'm in menopause, I only have problems with hot flashes and insomnia. At first the hot flashes were bad with sweat soaking my clothes. Since giving up both coffee and alcohol they are not a problem. They happen, but are mild and I don't sweat much, I just remove a layer of clothes. I think I now need less sleep- and if I meditate, do yoga and breathing exercises instead of watching youtube, the insomnia doesn't seem to hurt me. Menopause has asked me to approach life differently, and since I can do that it hasn't been too bad for me.
I don't have health insurance and am not on any hormones, it's been a long time since I've seen a doctor for anything. I've lost my appetite, and after years of going up and down in weight, it's much easier to stay thin at fifty than in my twenties, thirties and early forties.

I was just tired in menopause… post-menopause caused a whole host of issues. I got GSM (genitourinary syndrome of menopause), dry skin (when I’ve been super oily my whole life), could only sleep for three hours a night, anxiety and panic attacks for no reason, ugh, the list goes on. I broke down and went on HRT despite my mother having breast cancer. We are very fortunate to have options for helping us navigate successfully through this life stage. Thanks for opening the discussion!

Thank you!! 😊I hit menopause at the age of 47. 10 years later the symptoms began to decrease. I'm 59 now. Due to the loss of estrogen during menopause, I learned that consuming more protein became a game-changer for me. I don't overdo my workouts these days and I feel I'm looking, and feeling better. 😁👍I'm still a work-in-progress.

I never had menopause symptoms. I am now 55 yo. I eat healthy and exercise and I couldn’t get rid of my belly pouch and love handles. At age 54 yo last year, I had tummy tuck and liposuction on my love handles and back in Miami. After that my body is washboard abs, snatched and looking like teenage body. I was glad I did it. My opinion, it’s better to do tummy tuck around middle 50s past menopause due to belly hormones if you have it.

Thank you for sharing that you got married at 40 and got kids after that. This gives me hope of life actually working out for me. I’m turning 36, no kids and not sure if I should divorce 😢

Tracy, I love watching your videos! 😍 Tiredness was actually the only symptom I had. The game-changer for me was increasing my protein intake and taking a Vitamin B complex. Thank God I never had hot flashes; of course the one time I experienced it was when I was getting ready for the opera. 😂 I'm so glad that it was just a one-time experience in my life … 😆

I’m on HRT…which has been life changing❣️The #1 thing I found crazy, that NO one talks about, is that there is a definite window where you can start HRT….miss the window and you can NEVER start HRT.😮 20 years ago a friends mom told me that she would never go to a male gynecologist….I have found this to be useful advice.😉 I also read Suzanne Somers’ first book…before anyone was in the media talking about the symptoms that can start in 30’s/40’s and make women think the are crazy or depressed…Hello Peri-Menopausal life change…..ITS NOT YOU…ITS HORMONES ‼️❤️✨

It’s really refreshing to have these conversations. My friends at work and I were just talking about this last week - that no one really talks about menopause and there is no preparation! It’s like “boom, ” here you are. I too was told I was fine after bloodwork. I thought no way! So I did my research too and found great a HRT specialist. My doc even cautioned me against it, believe it or not. I’m so happy I found you. Your honesty and advice is much appreciated. 🦋🦋🌞🌞

OMG, I had extreme fatigue last year, and even now I feel so tired all the time, also huge anxiety and even depression, I thought it was because of a long series of unfortunate life events... But maybe it's also perimenopause (I'm 40).

You are so wonderful. I wish I knew all of this before my body went crazy and I had no idea what was happening. No hot flashes ever!!! Just night sweets. I thought it was my sheets or anxiety. It was a warning, but I didn’t know it . Then all hormone levels dropped … huge depression and I tried to commit suicide that just came out of the blue. Blood work proved it all after a great doctor found it out. Sooo much better, but I am perimenopausal and I get tired even in HRT and thyroid . I get checked every 3 months . My body is different. My mental health is sooo much better, but I have to still watch it and it comes first. Women need to know . Thank you for being a voice . I am letting my girls know for sure !!!!❤

I am going through perimenopause, and it is sad to see menopause is not as much supported as it should be.. my general physician was no help. I will keep on searching until I find a physician that will be supportive of HRT and guide me through this time. Sad to see that this is the norm for many . Pretty frustrating. I will do my own research and am hopeful there is a fix out there that is a bit more up to date on the right approach on these changing/ challenging years. I refuse to be robbed of up to 10 years of being miserable without any help! I know I am not the only one 🙏❤️

you’re so beautiful and you look late 30s.
I don’t have anyone to talk about this issue now that I am late 30s myself so thank you

Something I've really noticed since being in TBT is how much the American women in the group rely on doctors. I don't see doctors. I haven't for many years. Instead I see a naturopath. They are able to determine the root cause of disease, and prescribe natural supplements to rectify the issue. I'm in menopause. I had hot flushes for 6 months, and have been through the tiredness and crankiness, but mostly feel great since starting supplements. I would never use HRT and have not been on birth control since I was 30. Everyone is different, but I think it's important people consider the natural route with their health.
