Why I Bought the iPhone 15 Pro Max as a Filmmaker?

Now I'm not one for telling you to buy new gear that you don't need but I actually got pretty excited about this latest iPhone 15 Pro... even thought it feels kinda like a copy and paste in some ways, the features that they added to it I think make it a really compelling option for seasoned or beginner filmmakers. So yeah these are my thoughts on it and why I ordered it.

I just got my hands on the 15 pro and was scratching my head why I had log footage capability but couldn't shoot at 180 degree shutter angle. Didn't even know Blackmagic had this app and now it has REALLY opened up the iPhones capabilities. Thank you for the heads up!

Your presentation may be good. But I was only able to tolerate the first few minutes because of the loud background music. Background music might help entertainment films tell the story, but in this informational presentation, it competes with and wins over the message. Just omit the music. It only distracts from the information particularly for those who have hearing issues.

It might have been smarter to wait for the Pixel 8 next month. In blind test the cheaper Pixel 7 pro still outshines the Iphone 14 pro Max.

I don't really understand why you refer to the various lenses as 1 "ecks" 5 "ecks" etc. I'm sure you realise that the 'X' is the multiplication factor and not a name. I don't think that anyone teaches their kids the 2 or 3 or 10 "ecks" tables in maths. It's TIMES...
