It was not helpful, I want to merge them in the editor itself so I can change speed of the whole thing with single property.

i want to merge together audio from one file and the video from another (one video picture is clearer but in foreign language). Do I do this the same way?

The problem is between my clips I get a short black screen.

So there is no way to splice together the separate clips to make one clip without adding distortion by rendering the video?

You only have 103 likes from 13, 000 views because people are searching how to re-join or "merge" splits. What you showed is not "merging" a video. You are simply exporting multiple clips (which, of course, makes one single clip) It is not considered "merging".
