Tribit stormbox micro 2 - $60 - 8/10 -
A really great sounding speaker at an affordable price and also very compact. Perfect for biking or the beach.
In addition, an application with an equalizer and a battery indicator is available

Soundcore Motion 300 - $80 - 7/10 -
Great sounding speaker with a nice customizable EQ and an adaptive EQ that changes the sound depending on position. But it can distort sometimes

JBL Partybox Encore - $300-330 - 9/10 -
A good loudspeaker with deep bass for a party. It has an equalizer app and has bass boost options that make it even better
will enhance the party. Additionally, there are 2 microphones in the box (USA) and 1 microphone in the EU. I even prefer the encore to the boombox 3. New models have now better battery.

Would maybe like to see the WiFi version of BB3. Shame it's so expensive, if not I understand. Wish the regular BB3 had the same tuning.

THE BOOMBOX 3 IS 👍 SUPERIOR, BUT THE XTREME 4 SHOULD'VE ADDED THE BIG RECTANGULAR SUB ALONG WITH THE TWO TWEETERS AND MIDRANGE SPEAKERS TO AT LEAST MATCH THE BB3 IN A SMALLER PACKAGE . THE BB3 IS MORE BRIGHTER AND BOOMIER . 🤗

Soo… ok. The part I think U have to decide best is the 3:12. Actually for the price of extreme 4 I think… it gets destroyed by the BBX by bass and sound, that is actually a bit more expensive, but for 64€ more than extreme 4 (I’m Spanish) is better. I recommend getting the….

5:49 At 70% volume, the sound of Xtreme 4 it's horrible, you can ear the "pum" plastic sound of passive radiators for saturated Bass. In the Boombox 3, the Bass sound at 60% it's totally clear, and not have the plastic saturated sound of passive radiators. Xtreme 4 at 70% volume not good in this point.

As far as I can tell, this Xtrem 4 is aimed mainly at the wealthy, due to its very limited value for money (the charge 5 would have a better sound quality, despite its reduced power), and according to the tests, you shouldn't push the sound of the Xtrem 4 beyond 60 / 70%, otherwise you'll seriously lose quality. I've had a Wi-Fi boombox 3 for a few days now, which I haven't pushed beyond 40% so far. Useless in an apartment.
