Alfa is definitely the right choice. Absolutely stunning car and a certified future classic. By far the most tasteful of the three.

The exige would be so nice to see and so different on YouTube. That v6 with a manual is 😍. The alfa is cool too 😎. Bare in mind with covid restrictions easing a comfortable roadtrip exotic would be sick!!

Have a think about
Jaguar XKR
Aston Martin (DB7 are very cheap currently, DB9 are nearly in budget for you too, you can get a V12 Manual DB9 under 50k)
Audi R8 V10 manual (About same price as a 4c)
Bentley Continental GT (Maybe not as reliable)
Ford Bullitt Mustang
Decent spec Porsche 911 (911 are much cheaper to run than a lot of other exotics)
Lamborghini Gallardo
Noble M12 (Simple, easy to work on, lots of DIY to do)
Caterham or kitcar (Much cheaper than budget and a bit quirky, not supercar though)
Any old TVR
And my favourite: An MG XPower SV, very underrated, and has a Ford Mustang engine so relatively economical and cheap to repair

Best of luck whatever you go for I hope this gave you some food for thought!

I enjoyed hearing the personal back story behind your decision- good luck with it.

I think that's the right way to do it. Get a house first before the car. I'm planning on getting a buy to let first before a car. The big factor though is your source of income. If your not earning much it can take some time to save up.

Said this before and I'll say it again... only live once do what you can while you can and embrace it to the max #buyasupercar

Honestly the 4C is probably my favourite choice, also my dream car for 25, ironical about week before your original video talking about them 😂. Without wanting to ruin the idea they just remind me of the smart roadster but the ultimate form of it, especially the convertible.

Long, but whatever you get we will likely all love it and love watching you drive, modify and enjoy it 😌

Best of Luck with the house hunting! Hopefully the housing market will reclaim some sanity soon.

Would you ever consider reviewing featured cars? With your audience base growing I'm sure you'd be able to get your hands on some interesting cars and I'm sure viewers would love to see their cars featured!

As someone who had enough money to buy my dream car at 23 a Nissan Skyline, I can't stress enough to go with the house , I didn't and now probably never will be able to get a house .
Quench your thirst with a track day experience in something like a Ferrari or whatever you like most .
You are young and you won't realise the great position you are in until 1) your about 35/40 and settled in a decent house or 2) you had a car that cost a fortune and although you WILL enjoy it you know you made a long term mistake

A 4c would be mega, but try and get some money invested on the side first. But for content, a 4c would be great. Can't agrue, your plan seems great. Have you also considered putting money into some indexfunds, over time theyll average out at about 7%/year in interest, which might be great for saving for you second property.

Big ups JB, keep grinding

More reasons...
For:
- Good luck buying/running a nice sounding car in 10 years time if you wait too long.
- Based on my 981S...it's cost me about £1800 all in, over 9 months (warranty, insurance, fuel, 2 trips to the garage. No tyres yet.). It's appreciated £3k in that time. That won't last though.
- The novelty of literally 20% of people you drive past just staring, smiling and/or pointing does not wear off.
Against:
- You'll never be able to drive a "normal" car again.
- You get used to the car so it doesn't feel as special, but it'll always be uncomfortable and expensive.
- You either have to drive stupid fast or stupid slow, to either really show you're not racing (since everyone else is) or just demolish them. RS6 literally followed me for a mile earlier to try and race, had to drive like a granny to convince him to leave me alone...he eventually gave up and did a U-turn.
- Definitely get a house first. I funded my car entirely with rental income- just from a spare room. That's £5k a year tax free income. Cars cost money, ignoring the thing I said above ☺
- Sports cars are ridiculously expensive right now- cheapest 4C on Autotrader right now is £45k...that's as much as a 997 Turbo/991S/current gen E63.

Personally I'd say do it, but get a house/flat first and wait maybe a year for prices to drop at least a little. I did research after discovering my car had gained £3k and the expectation seems to be that the market will drop by next spring by about what it's gained, 10% or so. That means £4-5k off a 4C at current prices which is no joke.

Honestly with me in a similar situation (25 living at home) I'd buy a house. You have fun cars, as do I and I think the house is the next thing before an exotic. An exotic will eat money and will delay the house by years. for that reason I'd buy a house and stick with the MX-5 and 9n.

Good luck with the house/ flat, it's an evil market to get into. Let your head take control not your heart. Never look back after the first step.🤜🤛

At 56 and a lifetime of cars I advise against a supercar. Get a fun daily and a proper race car instead. Supercars make bad dailys and poor race cars as they are stuck in the middle and don't do either very well. If you like showing off and taking selfies then go for it but don't expect it to be a fun thing on public roads.
