I've created a SOOTHE clone in PATCHER [FREE DOWNLOAD]

Made in FL Studio with Patcher (only stock plugins)!

Soothe by Oeksound is one of my favorite plugins, so I've decided to create a clone of it! Patcher has some limits, and there's no way I can create an exact copy of Soothe, but this patch does the impossible! I split the spectrum into 34 bands, and they send a signal to 5 EQ in series. You can set an Attack and a Release, but most importantly you can EQ the trigger signal the way you want! So you can dynamically tame nasty areas in your audio. Use it on instruments or on whole mixes! Another plugin that inspired me in doing this patch is Gullfoss by Soundtheory. Gullfoss is different overall but the filters and the Bright-Dark features are ripped from it. Hope you'll have a blast with it.

Dude!! You're a genius!! I figured out a way to use your patch that has been extremely useful to me... It's actually a crazy sidechain workflow!!

First I place the smoothe patch on an instrument or sound that competes with the lead vocal... I like the presence of the instrument in the mix but I want the lead to stand out.
So I route the lead vocal to the instrument channel at 0% (sidechain), then in the smoothe patch I use the lead vocal channel as an input to the sidechain (the Fruity Limiter labeled "input") within the patcher, then I disconnect the audio between the limiter labeled "Attack"and the EQ labeled "EQ 1" and route the instrument audio directly to the "EQ 1" and BOOM!!!

My mixes are so CLEAN now broski!! Thank you!!🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
