Those are not winning tips. Those are self serving dealership tips. Of course we are not buying the warrantee. The warrantee costs more than the future repairs.

I totally agree...however, when the customer is too nice, the salesperson doesn't reciprocate... they are usually rude.

I tell my guy at Volvo “here’s what I want; features I’m looking for not ridiculous amount. (Leather seats, heated seats, sunroof) if I can’t have one it’s fine but it hurts. I said this is my payment amount, can u do it” it takes some time but I sometimes get it. I got my Volvo 😊

It is a business no one is here to be friends. It is a financial transaction. If a salesperson wants repeat business, he better earn it. A smart shopper shops around and does not buy based off emotion or the salesperson.

I'm not trying to be be nice to a car salesman who's trying to get as much money out of the customer as they possibly can. And as soon as you (the salesman) starts talking Slick mouth to me, then I'll declare war on the salesperson.

I just bought a 2019 C300 with $12k AMG upgrade for $22, 500 out the door. 40k miles, 1 owner, no accidents. They wanted $25, 500 out the door but I negotiated it down. They valued my 2017 Toyota Corolla trade in with 120, 000 miles at hail damage at $10, 000 up from $5500 because I knew how to negotiate. Then at the end I told them btw I’m not paying for maintenance here lol.

No this is cap get a deal and go your just a dollar sign to them of course should be respectful as humans, but don’t expect to act like y’all are kings customer is paying the debt for years I want a good deal and straight to the point none of this bs back and forth so sir you are wrong.
