Using Mizuno Alpha, the best of the best for me. Very lightweight, classic tongues adapt my wide feet well, grip tech - no grip socks need, soleplates perform well on AG with carbontex insert giving good snapback. Nothing more to expect from these speed boots, they have everything I need. Played 4hrs straight without any pain.

The azure color is 10 out of 10.

In my opinion, Predator line fell off during Edge, because Mutator and Freak are amazing ! Now with Accuracy getting good reviews, Predator line should gained its popularity again.

I got the latest pink Vapor 15 Elites recently. And I saw the heel is different on them. It’s noticeably narrower and there is a lot less padding as well when compared to the other past colorways I have. It is more along the lines of the Vapor 12 and 13 Elite heel in width. Just slightly less padded than the 14 Elite. I didn’t have issues with the old heel, but I do recall others having fit issues back there when the boots launched. Like heel slippage due to how wide the heel construction was. Guess Nike quietly changed and revised the heel on the Air Zoom Mercurials.

On another note, I sure am glad I went down half a size on the Mizuno Alphas. After a snug squeeze initially the boot breaks in swiftly and offer an amazing fit. If I stayed true to size then I fear there would’ve been the annoying bit of extra length beyond the tips of the toes. For their first full synthetic boot in years Mizuno really nailed it. Meet and exceeded all my expectations.
