It is important to understand what Unitarians believe as it takes many forms across the world and elements have infiltrated most mainline churches to some extent. Controversially, it is the main doctrine of the Founding Fathers of the USA (even though the denomination had not yet been established) with many people still believing that America was founded by Orthodox Christians.
