I'm just a home owner with a couple trees and need a saw a couple times a year I will stay with gas powered something about the sound of this saw sends a shiver up my back😊

I have a battery powered chain saw (Christmas gift) and so far so good. I’m in my 82nd year so yank to start for a few cuts is replaced by battery power. The battery system fits three other tools. Have a day. 😊

Have a friend in his 80’s who likes his battery power Stihl. He says his battery runs out when the saws battery does. Good saw to carry in travels through woods, fast reaction to get tree off road.

As a joke, should dub the 500i sound over it! Nice Mike

I did a video with a Dewalt tree trimmer and have to say im very impressed! I didnt think it would be as powerful as it is. I may hace to give this full size one a try!

The best battery powered chainsaw I’ve used yet is the 18” Ego CS1804. Not a saw for making firewood, but for clearing brush and cleaning up storm damage you just can’t beat it. Now messing around with fuel and you don’t have to start or stop the engine. The batteries last as long as it takes to charge another so as long as you have 2 batteries and a fast charger you can cut non-stop. Don’t replace my gas powered saws completely but I don’t use em near as much with the Ego around!

Recently added a battery powered chainsaw to our small collection of Kobalt battery operated tools. They have their place. Comes in handy for clean up of limbs and such. Plus the wife can grab it and not have to worry about a pull cord start 👍🏼

No matter the power source, if it has the speed and torque, it will cut. The sharpness of the chain is just as important as is the engine/motor.

15lbs? I'm out. My ms291 sits around 12 pounds and it takes its toll after throwing that around in thick brush for a few hours felling and bucking. I'll go electric when they can match the power of the 55cc saw while being 25% lighter. No doubt that it's coming, but I don't think we are there yet.

Cool .what's your thoughts about it ?

Looking forward to seeing how well the Milwaukee top handle does !

I stay away from battery powered anything. I have 5 chainsaws that are all gas powered and they work just fine.

Nice job on a “short”. Still like the longer versions better. Have a day!

Appear to be the same as the new CAT tools.

Nice “Shorts” video Mike
Keep on keeping on …😊

Handled it better than I thought. I think there is a place for battery saws, probably not for constant use. Could I ask the cost on that setup?

I've got two kobalt battery chainsaws that are 80volt battery and 18" bar they work great

Where does a person find a Kress chainsaw?

Looks powerful but at that weight, not sure of the advantage unless it is in the price.

Should’ve compared the electric to a gas engine. I’m betting the gas. I would’ve cut much faster.
