The subscription-focused site is not on Apple’s App Store and in four years, the company’s revenue grew more than 2000%. The company makes money only when creators make money instead of relying on advertising dollars, but what are some of the challenges that come with having a site populated with pornographic content?

WSJ spoke with OnlyFans CEO Keily Blair to learn about some of the challenges the company faced and learned how the company capitalized on the creator economy to change the dynamics of how digital creators get paid.

As a 38 year old man I came to the conclusion that cutting all this content from my life is the best decision possible.

People complain about the space industry wasting money, and then waste 6B$ on hoes that they can't even touch.

Congratulations! To a company that has deliberatively turned a large portion of western women onto reinventing the world's oldest profession.

In public, everybody condemns pornography. But when you look at the market, you will see tens of billions of dollars annual revenue. So who are the customers? Same people condemning pornography in public.😂😂

I advice against paying for adult content. It’s a big waste of money. Cutting on porn or eliminating it from your life to focus on human interaction that is real and not fake is what one should aspire to. If you are not ready to have a romantic relationship with anyone, invest in yourself and your wellbeing so you are happy and you make the right people for you to stay in your life and connect with you.

Only fans did not start off promoting adult content that happened over time due to popularity

This is another one of those cases where a young company grows very fast and then eventually when that growth can't stay that way forever we'll be seeing the opposite kind of video, something like "where they went wrong" or why they stopped growing 😂

Calling them models is a stretch. It's like calling Macdonalds fine dining.

What you can't take away from this site is that they are not as greedy as others - revenue sharing, commissions and not having to meet inflated criteria to start monetizing has done the trick

One of the many reasons I'm not good at creating a business is that i always think, "Who'd be so dumb to pay for this?"
