" The Oilers are RIGHT BACK IN THE GAME" down by 2 with 2 minutes left...bit of a stretch there boss.

In the past if Price didn’t play, it was really 50/50, Allen looks very solid so far.

Pleasantly surprised by Montreal's performance this game. Romanov still looks amazing after scoring his first NHL goal, our special teams has improved from last year so far (although I don't like how Montreal took too many penalties), and Jake Allen looks like an excellent backup that can not only finally give us wins without Price, but can also help him rest up and give him the rest he needs to be in top form. Hopefully we stay consistent this season.

I really love the way this version of the Canadiens play. Suzuki and the kids give so much energy, and they have Weber and Petry as amazing leadership. I hope they keep it up all year.

Vast majority of highlights were around the Oilers net, well deserved victory for Montreal

Another great game from the habs. 0 for 7 on the power play for the oilers and they were number one in the league last year???? Allen was pretty spectacular and overall a good two wins vs Edmonton! Gotta do the same to the Canucks who got dominated by the flames so I'm optimistic.

I would be shocked if Montreal doesn’t make the playoffs

Canadiens sure are looking good so far. Trading for Jake Allen to help Price might prove to be a great roster move.

Surprised to hear Romanov's name pronounced correctly by announcer, just like it sounds in russian :)

McDavid woke up feeling dangerous:
Ice Time 20:56 (8:35 PP) 📉📉
0 goals 🔥🔥
0 assists 🍎🍎
1 shot on goal 😱😱
-1 plus/minus 😩😩
1 penalty 😤😤

Best player in the NHL?!?!?

I know theOilers have holes in their D but could it not be that the habs are looking mighty powerful so far? Except for the 2 power play given to the leafs in the 1st game that allowed a win from behind, things are looking bright in Montréal. And how about that Romanov? He is what the hype made him to be so far!

I don't know why people continue to overrate the Oilers, but it's the same thing with them as it has been for years.

Edmonton needs to get rid of the old buys club in the back office. Like yesterday. Also, the remainder of the team could play a bit more inspired when they have arguably one of the greatest players in the history of the game.

A backup goalie capable of winning games??? Sky might be the limit for the Habs . . .
