I'm writing this to educate you.
The Kutuma Berber tribes of Algerian origin (Petite Kabylie region) were the main pillar of the Fatimid empire, representing the elite of the army. The movement thus began in Algeria around 903 and Ikjan🇩🇿 and was the Fatimid stronghold for the conquest of the Sunni Aglabids of Tunis.
It was thanks to them that the Fatimids were able to exist, playing crucial roles such as:
- the liberation of Ubayd from a Moroccan prison.
- or when they saved the Fatimid caliphate, which was hanging by a thread during Abu Yazid's revolt!
- Not to mention the raids in Italy, the conquest of the Maghreb, Egypt by Ja'far ibn Fallah and the Hedjaz, then the countries of the Levant.
I'd like to mention a few key figures of Algerian origin, such as Ja'far ibn Fallah, Ali ibn Ja'far ibn Fallah, Ziri ibn Menad, Jaysh ibn Samsama or Safiyy al-Dawla or Hassan ibn Ammar al-Kutami... ( you can read about each of them ).
After Al-Hâkim bi-Amr Allâh's reign of terror, when the kutuma demonstrated their position of strength within the Fatimid government, the jealousy of their opponents grew within the caliphate.
The decline of their influence began with the independence of the Zirid empire 🇩🇿et several defeats by the Fatimids.

The rulers of the Fatimid state are from Algeria 🇩🇿🇩🇿🇩🇿👑, and the capital of the Fatimid state is Setif, Algeria, the Kutama tribe, like Sultan Jaafar bin Falah Al-Kutami. These are my ancestors, the rulers of the Algerian Fatimid state 🇩🇿
