For loops were designed to be run a finite "for the next x times"

While loops were designed to be run indefinitely, where the break comes from a boolean flag,
"run as long as x is true"

That boolean flag may require user input, etc. and it's easier to set the result against a boolean than try and fit that into a for loop.
