I'm sorry but I have to write this. I love the MPC workflow, but all the activations and bugs associated with this InMusic profile are crap. Something happens with every update. You pay for a standalone machine and you have to connect it to the Internet again and again to activate something AGAIN (which was already activated) because otherwise you can't use the plugin you paid for. I'm not talking about STEMS now, but the confusion with activating it is just a continuation of the regular struggle with new AKAI equipment and the whole online plugin activation thing. Maybe it's really time to think about some alternative solutions?

AKAI - please look at all of your competitors and update your product registration, installation, expansion processes to be more in line with 2024. It’s so outdated. the whole InMusic login screen looks like it’s 20 years old.

Followed this process and it didn't work. Just filed a support ticket. If it's a software purchase, it should come with a serial or license #. Would be way easier.

I've purtchased and followed the instructions to-the-letter - there is no "Activate" button next to MPC Stem Separation.

Based on the discussions I saw on Reddit, it seems like the installation problems got worked out after the first few hours.

I installed and used Stems with zero issues last night. It worked perfectly and the sound quality of the stems were way beyond what I’ve gotten using Serrato’s stem separation.

Wait until it actually works to buy it.
I’m still waiting on streaming from source (file on disk, SD, wherever)…

It was mentioned prior by several creators, that stems will be releasing in standalone in the future. Sux that it wasn't made clear to all. If you are having issue with the activation button not appearing, try clicking on the column as if you are selecting the file itself. Mine then appeared. Hipe that helps some ppl.

Thanks AKAI but.. I activated the MPC Stem Separation but when I want to download I have this message "Download failed with code 403" :(
